Rebecca
I would definitely like to be part of a group and be really good, and produce great music together.
What’s your name, where are you from, and when did you start learning violin?
My name is Rebecca. I'm a Ugandan, but I'm working in South Sudan, based in Juba at the moment. I started playing violin recently in March of this year. I've been using Trala since I started in March.
Why did you decide to learn violin?
I picked the violin because I've always been fascinated by stringed instruments and the violin is tiny and portable, and it's cute.
What are your wildest dreams for the violin?
I like the sound of wildest dreams, but I'd say I'm a bit afraid of playing by myself in front of people. But I would definitely like to be part of a group and be really good, and produce great music together.
Rebecca is a humanitarian worker from Uganda who’s been learning violin with Trala since March, 2021.
