Jolly Old St Nicholas

Like many Christmas carols, Jolly Old St. Nicholas began as a poem. The poem’s author, Emily Huntington Miller, had over 100 pieces of her original poetry set to music and went on to found St. Nicholas Magazine, a publication for children.
