Auld Lang Syne
History
Based on a poem written by Robert Burns, Auld Lang Syne is often sung at weddings, graduations, funerals, and at the stroke of midnight on New Years Eve. Translated into English, the Scots language phrase “auld lang syne” means “long long ago.”
